Sunskritha R Shivaprasad (b.2007) is a surrealism artist and author of TheArtGene who explores themes of human nature and human experience while incorporating aspects of nature and literature. Her paintings are also influenced by her experiences growing up in Cary, North Carolina, and Bangalore, India. Her artistic journey began during her early childhood, and she continues to create vibrant pieces that examine human experience, connection, and the world’s gray areas. Combining acrylics with other media, her work reflects a deep exploration of the complexities of human life.

Sunskritha is currently pursuing a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She hopes to explore cell cycle and regulation to create therapies for cancer and tissue repair.
